Pikes Peak
Pikes Peak! We did it! 🚀 14,115 feet and carburetors did just fine, which I was definitely a bit worried about 😅 I had a new set of jets on standby, but didn't end up needing them. I had previously re-jetted the carbs for 6,000 feet for my time in Colorado in general, and that seemed to work well enough for the 25mph speed limit up here. Being here in the 02 was another surreal milestone moment for me (Zion NP being the first one), thinking back to visiting here two years ago and just DREAMING of being out on a road trip this scale in the 02. Well, here we are, and quite the adventure it is. Definitely fuels my inspiration and excitement for what else is to come!
