Colorado Campin’

Golden hour sure is pretty in the mountains. This was the first night after arriving in CO, at Dumont Lake Campground in the Park Range of the Rocky Mountains. A pretty big thunderstorm ended up rolling through in the middle of the night, which I quite enjoyed. Very refreshing after being so extremely thunder deprived living in LA. I was testing out a new tent for the first time too...and I dig it! As you can imagine space is at a premium in my current vehicle of choice, and over the last couple years I've gone through THREE different cheap Amazon tents trying to find one that has the features I want and also fits my space requirements. I finally decided I'm done with that game and pulled the trigger on a proper backpacking style tent. All the best features in a compact and easy to handle form factor. This will do for sure. Guess now I have no excuse not to do some actual backpacking with it 🤔
