Hiking Valley of Fire
A few more from hiking around Valley Of Fire 🌄🔥 Such an awesome, alien looking place. While there I discovered that the desert scenes on planet Viridian 3 in the film Star Trek: Generations were shot here. The last two photos are of Silica Dome, the location where Picard buried Kirk at the end of the movie, and supposedly there's still a shrine on the peak which many Trekkies attempt to seek out. I hiked out to it and made it nearly to the top, but the trail ends short and the remaining scramble to the top seemed a bit too sketchy for my skillz. Close enough, didn't feel like meeting the same fate Captain Kirk did here! 🖖
