Oatman, AZ

I stayed a night in Oatman, AZ, a really neat little old western mining town along route 66. It formed as a gold boom town in 1915 and grew to a population of 3,500, but today only 102 live there. They're known for the large population of burros (aka donkeys) that roam around town, which are the descendants of the pack mules from the mines back in the day! The last 2 pics are of the AirBnB I stayed at; "The Rock House" - definitely recommend it, very cool vibe there! Basically the only place to stay in town, too.
