Mendocino: The perfect town
I stayed in Mendocino, CA this past week, and it's without a doubt the most "period correct" west coast U.S. town I've ever seen! The entire town is on the national historic registrar, so every single structure, without exception, is maintained to the standard that it would have appeared as during its conception in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Exploring the streets really does feel like walking back in time, if only it weren't for all the lame modern cars! One of my dreams in life is to hopefully own a home from this exact period, so it was very inspiring to walk around here and admire all the architectual nuances that are upheld here. ♥️
