Ode to the Sonoran
My stay in Arizona has come to an end for now, so this series is a final ode to the Sonoran Desert! 🙌 The last couple months have been my first time ever visiting this region, and it really blew my mind. Such a special place, such an absolutely endless stage for exploration and adventure. I've really fallen in love with the desert in general over the past few years, and find it amazing how each little pocket of desert throughout the southwest has it's own entirely unique qualities. The Saguaro cactus that defines the Sonoran was an obvious highlight here, and I'm happy to have found time at the very last minute to go see the Organ Pipe cactuses near the Mexican border as well. Residential landscaping in desert climates seems like it could be a challenge, but they have it pretty easy in Tucson! The last photo here was the front yard view of this month's AirBnB 🌵
