A Scavenger Hunt Begins
Last year before leaving LA, I found myself starting to enjoy visiting lighthouses. They’re a great catalyst for adventure, since they typically exist in locations off the beaten path. After going to a few of them, I discovered the “Lighthouse Passport” is a thing and most lighthouses offer a unique stamp! I was immediately drawn to the idea of visiting and collecting as many as possible, so vowed that once I get back to the coast I’d make an effort to seek them out. Well, I’m back on the west coast now and over the next few months will be traveling from San Francisco all the way up through Oregon, Washington, and into British Columbia. I have several maps plotting all the lighthouses along the coast, am about to embark on an epic scavenger hunt to visit as many as possible!
