Zion National Park

Dramatic is the most suitable word I can come up with to describe the landscape in Zion National Park. I wasn't originally planning on coming through here since I had visited previously so was going to explore other routes, but after a change of plans due to the effects of hurricane weather on the Nevada/Utah border it worked out that this would be better. Quite a bit better in fact, as it's such an amazing place to experience and would be silly to ever pass up! There's such an incredible otherworldly quality to the terrain here, something I've never felt anywhere else. Maybe it's the mishmash of so many different types of rock formations all in one place combined with how lush and green it is. Everywhere you look it's completely different.

Not gonna lie it's also a bit surreal being here in the BMW. Last time I was here it was in 2021 in my Mazda, immediately after I had just concluded my first big CA road trip in the BMW. While in Zion in the Mazda back then, I remember thinking to myself "man it would be so cool to be here in the 02, but dang yeah I can't imagine ever driving it this far..." Hahaha weelllll it seems one thing has led to the next over the past 2 years, and here we are 😅 So yeah it was really fun thinking back to that moment, and taking inspiration from that to wonder what else is to come in the future.
